Legacy at Esquire House

This magnificent $15 million newly constructed 7,400 square foot house, designed by award-winning architects Xorin Balbes and Paul Ashley of TempleHome, is located in the stylish and sophisticated Hollywood Hills, in the celebrity studded “bird streets” at the top of Doheny Drive. Interior designers such as Westin, Guess, and Hugo Boss transform the rooms into a signature lifestyle environment. This three-dimensional setting becomes a true personification of the Esquire brand celebrating its 75th anniversary. Over the past six years, Esquire has hosted several charity events, raising more than $7 million. Check out Esquire House 2008 http://www.esquirehouse2008.com/.

The Hollywood Legacy Awards celebrate individuals and families for their artistic and humanitarian achievements. This year the entire cast of NBC’s hit show, Heroes," received the Hollywood Legacy Community Service Award and Maria Shriver presented the talented brothers Rob and Chad Lowe with the Hollywood Legacy Family Award.   Honorees now join the ranks of former recipients including the Bridges, Hustons, Fondas, Clooneys, Sherry Lansing and William Friedkin, Samuel L. Jackson and LaTanya Richardson, and Johnny Grant.

All proceeds from this event support HEM’s education programs serving thousands of LA County’s highest at-risk youth utilizing the entertainment arts to breakdown social and economic barriers.  It is a very exciting time as we prepare to move to our new home with our longtime partner, Los Angeles County Office of Education, in the heart of the Media District on Highland Avenue. This transition will allow HEM to reinstate its successful and comprehensive after school media arts program positively impacting the Hollywood community.
