Education Mission Statement

To create quality education programs, particularly using the school-to-career model directed at the at-risk youth population, utilizing the many facets of Hollywood Entertainment Museum's involvement in the entertainment, tourism, technology and arts industries; thereby making the Museum a signature project for the region. The entertainment industry, and its myriad career opportunities, is a wonderful way to reach across cultural and economic boundaries, providing a level playing field of opportunity for all young people. The youth of today were teethed on media in all its forms. Using the entertainment industry as a carrot to learn basic curriculum or to encourage school-to-career options, particularly for at-risk youth, has proven to be a highly successful and effective tool.

The Education Center for the Entertainment Arts is a multi-level program with each element able to stand alone, yet each reinforcing the other. Its goal is to reach as many young people and educators as it can through a variety of programs.
