  • Tal C. Finney formed the partnership of Dongell Lawrence Finney Partnership in 2004, having spent eight years at the highest appointed levels in California state government, including serving as Senior Advisory and Director of Policy to the Governor of California, and working on major state projects such as the Digital California Project and the Indian gaming compacts as well as a member of the Public Utilities Commission.  His practice areas include business litigation, corporate transactions, government regulatory enforcement and compliance, land use, energy, international trade and finance, nonprofit corporate transactions and compliance, intellectual property, and private equity transactions. 

Phyllis Caskey
President & CEO, Hollywood Entertainment Museum

  • With the support of her board and political leadership, Phyllis Caskey surmounted decade-long challenges to found and open Hollywood Entertainment Museum. For 10 years on Hollywood Boulevard, the non-profit venue celebrated film, television, radio, entertainment arts and Hollywood the place. She led the drive to create its pioneering Educational Center for the Entertainment Arts as a vital segment of the Museum’s mission, where at-risk youth get a second chance to earn a high school diploma while receiving career training and the opportunity to find a future working in entertainment or related industries.  Today over 1,800 youth are served throughout the region in various programs. Now she is spearheading the expanded mission to include all of the creative industries of Los Angeles in a new museum and charter high school.

Michael Dubelko
Treasurer, Hollywood Entertainment Museum
President, Stephen J. Cannell Productions

  • Michael Dubelko is a principal in The Cannell Studios, and Centuarus Films LLC. Dubelko joined Stephen J. Cannell Productions in 1982 as Executive Vice president and Chief Operating Officer. He was appointed President of the Cannell Studios at the time of the parent company’s formation in 1986. Dubelko is also an active real estate investor through his company, Grovewood Properties LLC, with development projects in Los Angeles, West Hollywood and Santa Monica, California. From June 1996 through March 2001, Dubelko was founder and CEO of DVD Express, a leading online video retailer.  From December 1986 through June 1995, Dubelko served as President of the Cannell Studios; from May 1982 through November 1986, he was Executive Vice President of Cannell. In his role at Cannell, he oversaw the production and distribution of over 30 prime time television series, developed the largest motion picture and television studio in Canada, and formed a broadcast group of independent television stations. Under his direction, the Company grew to become one of the largest privately held filmed entertainment companies.

Andrew Cohen
Executive Director, Gensler

  • Andrew Cohen serves as Executive Director and is part of the three-person executive team leading the entire 3,000-person Gensler organization, the largest architecture firm in the world. Cohen continues to advance Gensler's multi-disciplined practice areas including Architecture, Interior Design, Master and Urban Planning, Brand Strategy and Design and Strategic Consulting practices. He also serves on Gensler’s Board of Directors where he contributes to strategies and policies, which guide the 30 international offices’ long-term growth in the global marketplace. As leader of the Gensler Southwest Region practice, he has collaborated on significant projects such as 2000 Avenue of the Stars, The Ritz Carlton Hotel & Residences at LA Live, LAX Airport, DreamWorks Studios, Sony Studios and MGM MIRAGE CityCenter in Las Vegas; the largest privately funded project in the U.S.

Cyril Drabinsky
President & CEO,Deluxe Laboratories

  • Cyril Drabinsky joined Cineplex Odeon in 1983 and was appointed President of Film House in 1987 and President of Deluxe Film Laboratory (Toronto) in 1989. He served as Chief Operating Officer of Deluxe Laboratories for North America for two years and as President of Deluxe Laboratories Inc. from 1995 – 2000. He was appointed President and Chief Executive Officer of Deluxe Film Worldwide upon the separation of Deluxe Media and Deluxe Film in 2000.  Upon the formation of Deluxe Entertainment Services Group, Inc. in 2006, Drabinsky was named President and CEO. He has served as a member of the Hollywood Entertainment Museum board since 1995.

Earl Lestz
Chairman Emeritus, Hollywood Entertainment Museum
Principal, ESL Consulting

  • Earl Lestz served as President of Paramount Pictures Studio Group from 1985-2005. Under his leadership, the Hollywood-based 63 acre Paramount lot had undergone major renovations and new development, including 500,000 square feet of new office buildings and back-lot renovations. In 2005, Lestz retired from Paramount to start his own firm ESL Consulting, where he finds himself working on major projects in Hollywood and around the country. In addition to Hollywood Entertainment Museum, Lestz serves on the Executive Committee of the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce and the Walk of Fame Committee.

Jeffery Pollack
President and Commissioner, World Series of Poker

  • Highly regarded for his entrepreneurial insights and proven management skills,  Jeffrey Pollack is President and Commissioner of the World Series of Poker (WSOP). Pollack is responsible for all aspects of the WSOP, including: global business strategy, sales and marketing, international development, broadcasting and digital media, sponsorship and licensing, brand management, advertising and promotions, media and community relations, player relations, tournament and venue operations, administration, and business affairs.

    In addition to his role as WSOP Commissioner, Jeffrey serves as Corporate Vice President of Sports and Entertainment for Harrah’s Entertainment. In this capacity, he has leadership responsibility for live entertainment at nearly 40 properties in the United States. He also spearheads the development of new programming strategies and corporate partnerships within the television, film, music and digital media industries.

    Over the course of his career, Pollack has received a Primetime Emmy® Award for Outstanding Achievement in Interactive Television Programming, a Sports Emmy® for Outstanding Innovative Technical Achievement and was awarded the first-ever Billboard Digital Entertainment Award for Best Interactive Television Programming.

    In addition to serving on the HEM Board of Directors, Jeffrey is a member of the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences; a member of the Los Angeles Sports and Entertainment Commission Board of Advisors; and a member of the Advisory Board for Columbia University’s Graduate Program in Sports Management.

Christy Salcido
Public Relations Consultant

  • Christy Salcido joined Emanate PR in July of 2008. Prior to her current position, she worked at Starbucks Coffee Company as director, Consumer & Entertainment Public Relations leading national programs to support the Starbucks Brand, Retail North America Marketing, Consumer Product Goods, and Entertainment and Music.  Then in April 2007, Christy assumed the position as vice president, Public Relations & Marketing, Entertainment and Hear Music.  In this role, Christy led public relations, marketing and relationship managing activity for the Entertainment group, with a special emphasis on the new Hear Music record label. Christy brings more than 14 years of consumer branding, youth, entertainment, and cause-related marketing experience to her position.  She has a proven ability to create results-driven, strategic campaigns, reaching a variety of target audiences and has a vast background in apparel, retail and consumer products.

Nilza Serrano
Principal, The Media Shop

  • Over fifteen years ago, Nilza Serrano founded The Media Shop Production and Post Production firm.  Today she has an extensive client network that includes Paramount Studios, Ford Motor Company, Mobil Oil Company, Tenet Healthcare Corporation, Disney, Warner Brothers, Universal Pictures, Dream Works and VH1. Serrano was selected by the National Latina Business Women Association as the 2004 Business Woman of the Year, and the 2003 winner of The Latin Business Association’s Latina Entrepreneur of the Year. Beyond her professional life, Serrano is an active supporter of opportunity, education and outreach for Latinos and Latino Culture. She currently is a member of the Board of Amanacer Mental Health Services and Plaza De La Raza. Serrano’s love for Latino culture propelled her to co-found the Los Angeles International Latino Film Festival. She is also a member of Los Bomberos Advisory Board, a group of City of Los Angeles Latino Firefighters and an active board member of the HOPE: Hispanas Organized for Political Equality.
