2007 Golf Tournament and Spa Day

Beau Bridges, the 2006 recipient of the Hollywood Legacy Family Award along with his brother Jeff, served as the Honorary Chair of our Annual Golf Tournament & Spa Day on April 30th at North Ranch Country Club in Westlake Village. The success of the event was due to the tournament’s committee, co-chaired by Mike and Bob Dubelko. This event supported the Museum’s mission to empower high at-risk youth to succeed through its unique arts training program- The Education Center for the Entertainment Arts.

The day kicked off with lunch on the terrace. Golfers played 18 holes on a challenging, yet beautiful course. There were two chances to win a luxurious Mercedes provided by Keyes European Dealership, valued at $200,000 as part of the event’s Par 3 challenges.

For non golfers, guests pampered themselves with massages, facials, manicures, pedicures, make-up artistry and hair styling at the exclusive spa sponsored by acclaimed celebrity hairstylist Allen Edwards of the allen edwards salon +spa. The spa offered champagne, tarot card readings and soothing harp performances by Carol Tatum.

Guests secured exclusive items at great values at the event’s silent and live auction while supporting a great cause. The evening closed with a fabulous cocktail reception followed by dinner and program emceed by Gary Bryan, morning DJ of K-Earth. The event raised $132,000 including in-kind donations.
