2006 Golf Tournament and Spa Day

Presented by Keyes Motors

The Hollywood Entertainment Museum added a new twist to the traditional golf tournament with a Spa Day on April 10th at North Ranch Country Club in Westlake Village. Board member, Nilza Serrano chaired the event with an incredible committee. This event, sponsored by Baume & Mercier, supported the Museum’s mission to preserve an important collection of film, music and television artifacts and empower youth to succeed through its state of the art training program for high at-risk youth-The Education Center for the Entertainment Arts. Additional sponsors included: Keyes Motors, Deluxe Laboratories, EarthTech, The Media Shop and Mellon.

Golfers had the option of playing 18 holes or combining nine holes with a spa package. There were four chances to win a luxury S Class, CLS, SL, and G model Mercedes provided by Keyes European Dealership, valued at over $250,000 as part of the event’s Par 3 challenges. Non-golfers enjoyed the exclusive spa with massage, facials, manicures, pedicures all while sipping champagne and indulging in chocolate dipped strawberries.

Guests had the opportunity to shop at the silent and live auction which featured an extensive art collection including 1 of only 10 Andy Warhol serigraph of the Paramount logo and a Cardoso acrylic of Al Pacino.  There were a variety of jewelry & watches, designer accessories, a Playmate led lunch-tour of the Playboy Mansion, movie & sports memorabilia, walk-on parts and several other terrific items. The evening closed with a fabulous cocktail reception followed by dinner and entertainment with prizes for the tournament winners.  A cigar lounge was provided as an additional feature of the evening. Thanks to everyone’s generosity, we were able to raise $130,000 to support the Museum’s Education Center for the Entertainment Arts.
